Job summary

Riser Fitness in Long Beach is seeking a General Manager to oversee all studio functions from sales to instructors and to lead the team in a fast-paced, service-focused environment.

You will drive membership growth, manage four revenue streams (memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training), and hire/train Sales Associates and instructors while upholding Club Pilates standards. This role offers growth potential and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in retail/service or fitness sales.
• Ability to recruit, train and manage Sales Associates.
• Fluent English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and data management.
• Proficiency with computers and studio software.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation including Grass Roots Marketing and Networking.
• Implement sales process to schedule prospects into Intro classes.
• Ensure studio retail/products are stocked with accurate inventory counts.
• Train and supervise Sales Associates.
• Hire/manage instructors at the studio.
• Proficiency in ClubReady, including revenue and attendance reports.
• Review instructor evaluations and mentor as needed.
• Make decisions related to high level customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Pilates Studio.
• Enforce Club Pilates policies and procedures.
• Ensure all forms, supplies, and studio literature are stocked and visible.
• Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions.
• Strategically manage marketing campaigns to generate leads.
