Job summary

Amped Fitness is opening a new location and seeks an Operations Manager to lead pre-sale, grand opening and ongoing operations. You will supervise the front desk, drive membership acquisition and retention, and ensure the club energy reflects the Amped brand daily.

Qualifications

• Fitness industry pre-sale experience required.
• Previous leadership or management experience within the fitness industry
• Proven ability to drive membership acquisition, lead conversion, and member retention within a fitness environment
• Strong understanding of how front-of-house operations directly impact membership growth, member experience, and long-term retention
• High-energy, confident, and outgoing personality
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to lead, coach, and hold a team accountable
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and ownership-driven
• Ability to create energy while maintaining structure and operational discipline

Responsibilities

• Lead and support pre-sale and grand opening operations
• Drive membership acquisition through prospecting, tours, referrals, events, lead follow-up, and membership conversion
• Drive membership retention by proactively addressing member concerns, strengthening relationships, and creating an exceptional ongoing member experience
• Monitor membership production and retention KPIs and coach the team around opportunities for improvement
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop front desk team members
• Create staff schedules and ensure proper coverage
• Deliver a high-energy, welcoming member and guest experience
• Oversee check-ins, tours, membership inquiries, and front desk operations
• Drive team accountability around membership production and operational KPIs
• Maintain strong customer service and resolve member concerns
• Develop a front desk team that understands its role in both acquiring new members and protecting the existing member base
• Create opportunities for continued member engagement through tours, fitness introductions, events, referrals, and consistent relationship-building
• Monitor inventory including beverages, retail items, supplies, and operational materials
• Ensure front desk systems, processes, and daily workflows are executed consistently
• Support local marketing, promotions, events, and social media initiatives
• Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and energetic club environment
• Lead by example and protect Amped Fitness standards and culture
