Job summary

Taymax Group operates Planet Fitness clubs and seeks an Assistant Manager in Riverside, CA to help oversee daily club operations and deliver a high-quality Judgement Free experience.

Work closely with the Club Manager to build a positive team atmosphere, manage staff across front desk, trainers, and custodians, and drive a financially successful club while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in a gym or retail setting.
• Must be 18+ years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR Certification required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure excellent customer service.
• Support Club Manager with scheduling and supervising staff.
• Lead front desk activities: greet, check-in members, answer calls, inform of updates.
