Job summary

Taymax Group is seeking an Assistant Manager for a Planet Fitness club in Hawaiian Gardens, CA. The role supports the Club Manager in overseeing operations to deliver a Judgement Free Zone experience and a financially successful club.

You will recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensure outstanding customer service, manage scheduling, payroll, and daily bank deposits, and help maintain a clean, safe facility while driving member engagement and promotions.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite) and ability to learn systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing staff.
• Maintain welcoming atmosphere and ensure superior customer service.
• Assist with staff management and payroll processing.
• Schedule and supervise staff to ensure full shift coverage.
• Greet members and guests and manage check-ins and inquiries.
• Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the club and safety of staff and members.
• Assist in ordering of supplies within the club budget.
• Track weekly, monthly and annual statistics and reports.
• Support marketing efforts for promotions and activities.
• Engage in front desk duties and lead by example.
