Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a passion for fitness and health.
• 1–3 years of experience in a management role preferred.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Suite and the ability to learn systems quickly.
• Strong leadership, team building and coaching skills.
• Direct experience managing customer‑focused teams in fitness or similar industry.
• Exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• Energetic, hardworking management style with organization and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train and develop staff including Assistant Managers, Member Service Representatives, Trainers and Custodians.
• Create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests with superior customer service.
• Schedule shifts, ensure coverage, coach staff and administer payroll and discipline when needed.
• Lead front desk activities: greet members, assist inquiries, log visits and communicate events.
• Oversee facility cleanliness and safety, coordinate with Facilities Maintenance as needed.
• Manage marketing promotions and authorize expenditures/refunds; perform daily deposits.
• Prepare HR forms and coordinate with Corporate HR and Payroll; track key metrics.
