Job summary

Fitness Ventures LLC in Fargo, ND is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to lead daily club operations, drive member growth, and develop the team to deliver exceptional member experiences. This on-site role supports the General Manager and acts as the on-site leader in their absence.

The AGM will motivate staff, implement operational initiatives, and uphold brand standards with accountability and service excellence. Flexible scheduling is required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Eligibility to work in the United States and ability to provide required employment verification documentation.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience in fitness, hospitality, retail, or a customer service-focused environment preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to motivate teams and drive results.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in creating and maintaining a culture of diversity, inclusion, acceptance, and member satisfaction.
• Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
• Supervise, coach, motivate, and develop team members to achieve individual and club performance goals.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment where team members can thrive and grow professionally.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training qualified team members.
• Demonstrate sound judgment and the ability to make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Assume leadership responsibilities and oversee all club operations in the absence of the General Manager.
