Excel Fitness in Williamsburg is seeking a Club Operations Manager who oversees daily club tasks, staff performance, and customer service excellence. You will lead recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training to ensure high standards and compliance with certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a HS diploma or equivalent.
• CPR/AED certification required; uncertified team players will be trained within 30 days of employment.
• Proven ability to lead, encourage, develop, and supervise the work of others.
• Familiar with Excel mission, values, vision, and culture and the Planet Fitness brand and operational requirements.
• Demonstrated the ability, confidence, and leadership to manage a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM in planning and implementing strategies to attract and keep members based on Excel Core Values.
• Oversee hiring process from candidate selection through onboarding documentation.
• Train and develop new team members and ensure certifications are up to date.
• Supervise and coach up to 20 Team Players per location.
• Monitor KPI goals and metrics for the club.
• Maintain a clean facility and world‑class member service.
