Job summary

Taymax Group, LP, a multi-unit Planet Fitness franchisee, is hiring an Assistant Manager for its Hawaiian Gardens, CA club. You will support the Club Manager, supervise a team, ensure a welcoming environment, and help drive a financially successful operation.

Responsibilities include staff recruiting, scheduling, payroll, customer service excellence, and facility upkeep, with an emphasis on a high-energy, member-first culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• One year of customer service experience, preferably in gym or retail.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing staff.
• Maintain welcoming atmosphere and exceptional customer service.
• Staff scheduling and supervision to ensure shifts are covered.
• Assist with payroll processing and banking as needed.
• Greet members, check in, answer questions and resolve member issues.
• Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the club.
• Support marketing efforts and track weekly/monthly stats.
