Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a friendly front desk associate in Augusta, ME. You will greet members and guests, process sign-ups and class bookings, and ensure a clean, welcoming Judgement Free environment.

You will handle phones, answer questions, and promote fitness programs while upholding Planet Fitness values and policies. This role emphasizes reliability, positive attitude, and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency with an eye for accuracy.
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests, provide exceptional customer service. Make members feel comfortable and welcome.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
• Check members in, tour and sign up new members, log amenities and communicate updates and events to members and guests.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Conduct beverage or merchandise purchases on the point of sale system.
• Explain and promote fitness instruction classes to members, helping them keep workouts engaging.
• Adhere to policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook.
