24 Hour Fitness is seeking a General Manager in Oakland to drive membership growth, fitness revenue, and overall club performance. You will lead a high-performing team, deliver exceptional member experiences, and achieve ambitious sales goals in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, customer service excellence, and adherence to safety and company standards, with a focus on community engagement and profitability.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of management experience in retail/hospitality/fitness with a proven track record.
• 2–4 years supervising 3–10+ employees with measurable development outcomes.
• Strong service culture and leadership to drive member and team initiatives.
• CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire; training provided.
• Personal Training certification required within 90 days; degree may satisfy in lieu of certification.

Responsibilities

• Drive membership sales, fitness revenue, and other club revenue streams.
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team.
• Coach and lead with clear objectives and accountability.
• Cultivate welcoming, community-focused member engagement.
• Oversee daily club operations, facilities, and cleanliness.
