Job summary

Plus One, an Optum company, seeks a Member Services and Programming Manager to lead daily operations of fitness and program teams at a Boston facility. You will coordinate staff, manage member engagement, and support marketing and communications with a focus on exceptional service.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years in a fitness center, CPR/AED/First Aid, and strong public speaking and customer skills. On-site position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum three years of experience in a fitness center.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
• Knowledge of customer skills to network, engage, and interact with clients, guests, and participants.
• Ability to engage participants as a public speaker.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Member Services and Programming teams.
• Coordinate staff responsibilities and resources for programs.
• Develop communication systems to share information among staff.
• Support marketing, signage, and member engagement initiatives.
• Maintain membership and check-in management system.
• Foster inclusivity, collaboration, and exceptional customer service.
• Maintain a visible leadership presence on the floor and at the service desk.
