Job summary

The University of Oregon's Department of English invites applications for a Pro Tem instructor pool focused on teaching undergraduate composition to first-year students. Qualifications

• MA in English, Rhetoric and Composition, or a closely related field.
• Three terms or two semesters of experience teaching composition or writing-intensive courses to undergraduates.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate composition courses for first-year students in the English Department.
• Advise students during office hours and participate in program assessment.
• Attend Composition Conference and Composition Program meetings as schedules allow.
