The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) is the intellectual hub ofthe University of Oregon, serving nearly two-thirds of allstudents. The Creative Writing Program at the University of Oregon offersboth a minor in creative writing and a Master of Fine Arts. TheProgram emphasizes the workshop and integrating concentrated timefor writing with craft seminars. Undergraduate offerings within theCreative Writing Program also include the Kidd Tutorial Program, aunique studio experience that emphasizes literary analysis inpoetry and prose fiction, craft-related topics of concern to thecollege-level creative writer, and an engagement with the rigorouscritical discourse.
