Qualifications

• 1-year certificate from college or technical school; or 2-5 years of related experience.
• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of experience with MIG and TIG welding in a fabrication environment.
• Must have aluminum and stainless steel TIG welding experience.
• Blueprint reading is a must.
• Welding certification or technical degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan layout, assembly, and welding of components.
• Lay out, position, align, and fit parts together.
• Set up equipment and weld parts using MIG/TIG/Torch welding.
• Assemble parts by bolting and riveting.
• Use hand and power tools and read blueprints for specifications.
• Maintain 5S in the department.
• Ensure product quality and communicate changes to relevant departments.
