Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school or 2–5 years related experience.
• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• 2–5 years of MIG and TIG welding in a fabrication environment; aluminum and stainless steel TIG welding experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and weld parts using MIG/TIG/torch welding equipment.
• Read blueprints and ensure welding requirements meet specifications.
• Lay out, position, align, and fit components; tack-weld and secure for welding.
• Assemble parts by bolting and riveting; use hand tools and power tools as needed.
• Maintain 5S in the department and ensure product quality per work orders.
