Accounting Search is seeking a Welder in Harlan, IA. The role involves laying out, assembling, and welding fabrications including frames, stands, reels, and shafts. You will read blueprints and follow work order sheets to ensure products meet quality standards.

The position requires MIG/TIG welding experience, aluminum and stainless TIG experience, and a strong problem-solving mindset. A 1-year certificate or 2–5 years of related experience is expected, with 5S practices in the department.

Qualifications

• Requires 1-year certificate or 2–5 years related experience
• Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college preferred
• 2–5 years MIG and TIG welding experience in fabrication
• Aluminum and stainless TIG welding experience required
• Blueprint reading is a must
• Quality-focused applicant
• Welding certification or technical degree is a plus

Responsabilités

• Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding.
• Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.
• Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure for welding.
• Sets up equipment and welds parts with MIG/TIG/torch.
• Assembles parts by bolting and riveting.
• Uses hand and power tools safely.
• Uses acetylene/plasma arc to cut parts per specs.
• Repairs products by dismantling and reassembling parts.
• Reads blueprints and ensures welding requirements meet specs.
• Maintains 5S within the department.
• Checks input from engineering, sales, and manufacturing for accuracy.
• Supports and sustains 5S program initiatives.
