Qualifications

• : One-year certificate from college or technical school; or 2-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-5 years of MIG and TIG welding experience in fabrication environments
• Must have aluminum and stainless steel TIG welding experience
• Blueprint reading is a must
• Welding certification or technical degree a plus

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, align, and fit components for welding.
• Set up welding equipment and perform MIG/TIG/Torch welds.
• Assemble parts by bolting and riveting as needed.
• Read blueprints and ensure welds meet specifications.
• Maintain 5S within the department.
• Check final product against specifications and quality guidelines.
• Support continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
