Job summary

Your Talent Team in Harlan, IA is seeking a Welder on first shift to handle layouts, fits, and welding of fabricated, cast, and forged components. The role involves assembling structural forms such as frames, stands, reels, shafts, and parts by performing the listed duties.

You will set up MIG/TIG/Torch welding, read blueprints, and ensure product quality while maintaining 5S in the department. Strong aluminum and stainless TIG experience is required.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years MIG and TIG welding experience
• Aluminum and stainless steel TIG welding experience
• Blueprint reading is a must
• Be a problem solver

• Welding certification or technical degree a plus

Responsibilities

• Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding.
• Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.
• Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
• Set up equipment and welds parts, using MIG/TIG/Torch welding equipment.
• Assembles parts by bolting and riveting.
• Basic knowledge and use of hand and power tools.
• Reads blueprints and ensures welding requirements meet specifications.
• Maintains 5S within the department.
