Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor for first shift to lead daily warehouse and transportation operations. You will supervise warehouse personnel, run on-the-floor processes, and ensure productivity and service levels meet customer expectations.

The role requires hands-on leadership, experience with warehouse systems, and the ability to manage staffing, safety, and performance metrics in a fast-paced environment. English/Spanish bilinguals are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field, or 1-5 years of supervisory experience.
• High School Diploma required.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
• Previous experience operating a spotter (yard) truck is required.
• Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment is required.
• Hands-on operational duties while supervising warehouse personnel.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with shifting priorities.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma concepts and performance metrics is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, FDA regulations and willingness to certify.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements shipping and receiving schedules to meet goals.
• Provides direct supervision to warehouse personnel matching skill and background to work required.
• Supervises inbound and outbound shipments ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
• Ensures equipment is used efficiently and coordinates maintenance.
• Drafts daily end-of-shift reports and collaborates with leadership on process improvements.
• Provides hands-on operational support on the floor, including forklift and yard operations.
• Leads pre-shift meetings and coaching to improve performance.
