Job summary

NFI Industries in Tracy, CA, is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager I to lead daily warehouse activities, supervise staff, and implement operational plans designed to optimize productivity and safety. The role reports to the General Manager of the Distribution Center and requires strong leadership and hands-on management of inbound/outbound processes.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 5 years of supervisory warehouse experience, with knowledge of

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field.
5+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Experience with Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and warehouse equipment.
Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, FDA regulations; willingness to get certified.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment and handle shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

Develops a strategic plan with the General Manager to optimize facility operations.
Directs warehouse supervisors and personnel to meet goals.
Oversees inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and timeliness.
Reviews daily work objectives to set productivity requirements.
Plans long-term labor needs based on sales and forecasts.
