Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking an Operations Manager for the Value Added Service - Goods on Hanger (VAS GOH) department. The role leads a ~20-person warehouse team, drives safety, quality, and performance, and owns CI initiatives and budgeting.

Strong analytics and WMS experience are essential to optimize operations and ensure the company’s customer promise. The schedule is 1st shift, Monday–Friday, with compensation aligned to experience and location.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse managerial experience.
• Ability to identify and implement CI actions that reduce cost and improve service/quality.
• Proven ability to develop others and grow leadership skills in reports.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing KPIs.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
• Analytical mindset with data-driven decision making.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the business strategy and drive safety, quality and performance.
• Lead, develop, and grow a team of about 20 employees.
• Recruit, select, onboard, and train resources.
• Coach and discipline associates; monitor performance and provide feedback.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and knowledge sharing.
• Own CI and process-improvement initiatives with project management.
• Manage budget information, monitor expenditures, identify variances and take corrective actions.
• Drive KPI metrics and facility scorecards (4DX).
