Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Columbus, OH is hiring Temp to Hire Warehouse Associates to join a team that supports a safe, efficient distribution network. The role offers weekly pay, first shift hours, and on-the-job training with provided safety gear.

Responsibilities include packing, loading, data entry into WMS, and operating forklifts; candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Operate powered industrial trucks (stand-up/sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, etc.) including battery changes.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Read and perform basic math in English for safety/work instructions.
• Input data into the WMS system.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers; ensure scanner accuracy.
• Train dock employees on new procedures and maintain security at end of shift.
• Perform picking and packing duties and check for product damage.
• Perform material moves with associated transactions as required.
• Participate in team activities to improve warehouse operations and related functions.
