Job summary

Ryder is hiring Warehouse Associates in Columbus, OH, offering weekly pay and a path to a temp-to-hire career. The role covers packing, loading/unloading, scanning with RF devices, and multi-tasking in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Second shift is available with a $1 per hour premium; candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate various warehouse equipment. Training is provided, and safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Learn to operate powered industrial truck(s) including stand-up and sit-down forklifts and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers; ensure scanning accuracy.
• Perform picking and packing duties and maintain housekeeping.
• Conduct material moves and ensure documentation in WMS where applicable.
• Support safety and compliance as part of daily operations.
