Venteon in Jonesville, Michigan seeks a 1st Shift Tooling Assembly Supervisor to lead toolmakers, plan tool room work, and ensure timely die and tooling tasks. This is a full-time, permanent direct hire with competitive compensation, bonus potential, and comprehensive benefits.

The role requires CAD/CAM knowledge, GD&T, tool room supervision, and automotive stamping experience. You will coordinate with Production, Engineering and New Build, maintain CAD files, and supervise staff while

Qualifications

Supervise toolmakers and apprentices.

Responsibilities

Supervise Toolmakers and Apprentices; plan and schedule tool room jobs per timeline.
Control heat treated components from outside suppliers.
Schedule ordering of tooling components and supplies; assist Tool Room Manager in scheduling.
Assist Lead hands in troubleshooting die build problems.
Plan tool room equipment maintenance.
Assist in quoting, design, troubleshooting and development as required.
Staff and evaluate tool room employees.
Resolve issues with other managers (press time, sign off, shared equipment).
Maintain CAD files and system per company standards.
Liaise with Production, Engineering and New Build Departments.
Create CNC surface files when required.
Perform duties of Tool Room Manager in absence.
Record daily job numbers and hours on punch card.
Other duties as required.
Operate all Tool Room Equipment.
SPC Skills.
