Job summary

Venteon in Dundee, MI is seeking a hands-on 1st Shift Maintenance Supervisor with 4+ years in industrial maintenance and metal stamping knowledge. This permanent role involves leading maintenance and production teams, ensuring equipment reliability and safety, and expanding preventive maintenance programs on mechanical systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong machine repair skills, ability to read blueprints, and experience with PLCs, robotics, hydraulics and welding.

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years industrial maintenance / machine repair experience.
Metal stamping knowledge and previous supervision experience preferred.
Must be able to read blueprints, schematics and mechanical drawings.
Experience with dies, presses and related mechanical equipment beneficial.
Familiarity with PLCs, robotics and electrical controls is expected.

Responsibilities

Leads maintenance operations and production personnel on the team.
Oversees installation, modification, maintenance and repair of production equipment and facilities.
Interprets blueprints and manufacturer specifications to guide repairs.
Establishes preventive maintenance programs for machinery and facilities.
Prepares progress reports and recommends corrective actions.
Performs diagnostic troubleshooting using precision instruments.
Advocates safe and compliant maintenance practices.
