Qualifications

• Experience supervising tool room staff in metal stamping.
• Progressive Die knowledge is a must.
• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) skills are required.
• Knowledge of ISO and QS standards is preferred.
• A Journeyman's Card or Tool & Die Certificate is preferred.
• Competence with CAD/CAM tools and office software (Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Supervise Toolmakers and Apprentices.
• Plan and schedule tool room jobs to meet timelines.
• Control all heat-treated components from outside suppliers.
• Schedule ordering of tooling components and supplies.
• Assist Tool Room Manager in production scheduling.
• Troubleshoot die build problems with engineering.
• Maintain CAD files and meet company standards.
• Operate all Tool Room equipment.
• Record daily job numbers and hours.
• Other duties as required to support customer needs.
