Job summary

GE Vernova's 1st Shift Production Supervisor will lead daily operations on the Schenectady, NY production line to ensure reliability and consistency. The role includes supervising front-line employees and ensuring work is completed according to standard procedures.

Requires a Bachelor's degree with 3 years of manufacturing experience or a HS diploma with 6 years of manufacturing experience, plus at least 2 years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 3 years manufacturing experience OR HS diploma with 6+ years manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 2 years manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Ability to work 1st Shift (7am-3pm) and onsite in Schenectady, NY.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front-line manufacturing employees, typically hourly staff.
• Resolve problems using established procedures and precedence guidance.
• Coordinate with business unit teams to plan activities and explain technical issues.
• Communicate with the direct team and supervisor on status and needs.
• Present metrics, project status, and research results to internal teams.
• Be able to cover other operations to meet production needs.
