Job summary

Saint-Gobain is seeking a Production Supervisor in Little Rock, AR to lead the production line teams, coach staff, and ensure safe, compliant, high-quality output.

You will collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering, enforce safety, apply progressive discipline when needed, and drive continuous improvement with Lean and Six Sigma.

Bachelor's degree preferred with 3-5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing; strong communication and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and/or 3-5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production processes, and standard operating procedures.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, motivate, and engage teams while fostering a positive and accountable work environment.
• Excellent communication, active listening, and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and the promotion of safe work practices.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment and production processes.
• Proficiency with computer systems and standard business software applications.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct all Production activities for assigned lines to ensure products meet specifications and quality requirements.
• Confer with Production Manager and establish work schedules, assignments, and production requirements.
• Observe work and monitor to ensure production performance; assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Interpret production specifications and determine acceptability of in-process production.
• Support activities such as Maintenance and Engineering.
• Maintain communication with Operations Management to assure understood production requirements.
• Advise and counsel Production team members, apply progressive discipline when warranted.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain a safe, accident-free work environment.
