Job summary

JMJ Phillip Group in Little Rock seeks an experienced Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing lines, drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement, and develop a high‑performing team. You will coordinate with operations, maintenance, and engineering, schedule shifts, monitor performance, coach staff, and apply Lean/Six Sigma methods to raise productivity and ensure adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3–5 years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Ability to work a second shift and cover vacations or staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production activities for assigned lines.
• Establish work schedules and production requirements with management.
• Ensure products meet process specifications and quality requirements.
• Monitor production performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Interpret specifications and determine acceptability of work in process.
• Maintain knowledge of products, equipment, and processes.
• Lead, coach, and develop production employees to improve skills and performance.
• Provide counseling and performance feedback; apply corrective actions when needed.
• Support maintenance and engineering activities related to production operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Analyze performance metrics and implement solutions to improve results.
