Job summary

Clemens Food Group seeks a Production Supervisor to lead our first-shift Marinade team in Hatfield, PA. You will oversee ~45 team members across the department that handles about 85,000 pounds of product daily, coordinating steps from raw material prep to injection, marination, and packaging.

You will schedule, coach, and build team leads, monitor yields and product quality, and partner with Food Safety to ensure proper labeling and allergen controls.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple connected processes and prioritize effectively.
• Experience using production metrics to identify issues and drive improvements.
• Practical approach to scheduling, staffing, training, and problem-solving.
• Clear communication and the ability to build trust across diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, organize staffing, and adjust assignments to keep work moving in the department.
• Set expectations, coach team members, and address performance with consistency and respect.
• Develop team leads and strengthen coverage through training and cross-training.
• Coordinate raw material flow and production scheduling across ~100 products.
• Monitor yields, weights, waste, and finished product quality; investigate issues and implement improvements.
• Partner with Food Safety and Quality Assurance to maintain specs, labeling, and allergen controls.
• Work with Maintenance and other partners to resolve disruptions and prevent recurring problems.
• Reinforce safe work practices and take ownership of department performance.
