Job summary

UFP Salisbury, LLC in Salisbury, NC is seeking a Production Department Supervisor to oversee the operation of its department, train staff, and meet cost, profit, and production goals. You will develop methods and implement them to achieve department plans under a manager's guidance.

You will manage multiple departments and shifts, coach employees, encourage continuous improvement, enforce safety standards, and prepare reports. Forklift duties may be required.

Qualifications

• Post high school education is required.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• 1–3 years of people management experience.
• Ability to set up agendas with clear timelines and visuals.
• Strong communication, precise speaking, active listening.
• Proficiency with Inside UFPI, Citrix, and JDA/JSA systems.
• Knowledge of CI, 5S, TPM and safety practices.
• Detail-oriented with double-check processes.
• Daily feedback, performance reviews, and training emphasis.
• Forklift licensing and safe material handling.

• May perform duties in treating department and forklift operations.
