Job summary

AKG North America is seeking a Production Coordinator in Mitchell, SD to support daily manufacturing operations by coordinating production information, maintaining accurate production and inventory records, and collaborating with Supervisors, Managers, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Inventory Control.

You will use SAP and other systems to enter data, troubleshoot discrepancies, prepare reports, and help keep production on schedule while ensuring quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing, production, inventory, or administrative environment.
• Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Ability to read, write, and understand production documents and reports.
• Strong math skills for production and inventory calculations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in entering and maintaining production and inventory data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain daily production information in SAP and other systems.
• Coordinate with Supervisors and Managers to gather production data, priorities, schedules, and changes.
• Attend daily production meetings and provide required data and reports.
• Review production information and reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify and troubleshoot discrepancies related to production data, work orders, and inventory.
