Job summary

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing, a valid driver’s license, forklift certification, and English proficiency. SAP experience is a plus; you’ll manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment; receiving experience is a plus.
• Must have a Valid Driver's License.
• Forklift-certified and confident operating material-handling equipment.
• English is required to follow work orders, read supervisor notes, and communicate with team members.
• Able to learn SAP to locate and track parts.
• Able to stay organized while juggling multiple tasks—unloading trucks, sorting materials, and pulling inventory.
• Pays strong attention to detail and keeps documentation accurate.
• Maintains a clean driving record to operate the company truck when needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive materials, review packing slips, and maintain accurate records.
• Unload incoming trucks, sort parts, and place materials on the welding line.
• Prepare and load weekly Midwest shipments; confirm customer shipping and delivery reports.
• Use SAP to locate, retrieve, and track inventory.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and notify Purchasing when materials need replenishment.
• Assist other Material Handlers as needed.
• Report issues to the Supervisor immediately.
• Follow all environmental, safety, and company policies.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
