Job summary

Qualifications

• Has prior experience in a manufacturing, production, inventory, or administrative setting.
• Has working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Reads, writes, and understands production documents, work orders, and reports.
• Has basic math skills for production/inventory calculations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Maintains accuracy in production and inventory data with attention to detail.
• Communicates clearly with employees and other departments.
• Identifies discrepancies and researches issues to resolve.
• Can organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Works independently with good judgment and escalates when needed.
• Adapts to new systems, processes, and production requirements.
• Cooperates with others to support production and departments.

Responsibilities

• Receive and accurately enter daily production information from Managers and Supervisors.
• Coordinate with Supervisors and Managers to gather, verify, and communicate daily production priorities and schedules.
• Attend daily production meetings and provide required data and reports.
• Review production information, work orders, and system entries for accuracy.
• Identify, research, and troubleshoot discrepancies related to production information.
• Enter and maintain production and inventory data in SAP and other systems.
• Assist production staff with work order and data questions.
• Coordinate with Inventory Control on inventory discrepancies and material availability.
• Assist with creating and closing work orders and related records.
• Monitor production information that could impact customer orders or shipments.
• Coordinate with Purchasing on parts, quantities, and arrival dates.
• Communicate production status to Customer Service and other departments.
• Prepare and distribute daily production reports as requested.
• Respond to inquiries regarding production, inventory, and related data.
• Maintain organized production records and documentation.
• Report issues to Supervisors or Managers.
