Job summary

Qualifications

• Has working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems, or the ability to learn SAP.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Can read, write, and understand instructions, work orders, and reports.
• Basic mathematical skills for production and inventory calculations.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Able to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter and verify daily production information from managers and supervisors.
• Coordinate with production leaders to gather, verify, and communicate daily data, priorities, schedules, and changes.
• Attend daily production meetings and provide required data and reports.
• Identify discrepancies and troubleshoot production information, work orders, and inventory.
• Enter/update production and inventory information in SAP and other systems.
• Assist production staff with work order, system, inventory, and data questions.
• Coordinate with Inventory Control to identify discrepancies and material availability issues.
• Create, maintain, and close production-related system records and work orders.
• Monitor production information that could affect customer orders or shipments.
• Communicate with Purchasing about parts, quantities, and delivery dates.
