Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division in Santa Ana, CA is hiring a Production Assembler for 1st shift. The role runs 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with a 40-hour work week and potential overtime, full benefits, and a 401(k) plan from day one.

You will assemble sub-assemblies and power distribution units and transformers, follow SOPs, use hand and power tools, read wiring diagrams, and perform quality inspections. The job requires lifting up to 40 lbs, standing for long periods, crane operation after training, and

Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
1 year of assembly experience.
Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Willingness to work daily and overtime as needed.
No relocation benefits; within 50-mile radius.

Responsibilities

Build sub-assemblies and assemblies to customer specifications including complex wiring and mechanics for PDU and transformers.
Follow SOPs to assemble, inspect, and adjust components.
Operate cranes to move transformers and materials.
Perform point-to-point wiring and work with sheet metal for transformer parts.
Inspect completed assemblies and ensure quality; maintain 5S+ housekeeping.
Use fixtures, gauges, hand tools, and power tools; calibrate machines as needed.
Adhere to safety rules and offer process improvement ideas.
