Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division seeks a Maintenance Technician on 1st shift in Santa Ana, CA. The role offers 40 hours per week with potential overtime and a start time of 5:00am.

You will assist engineers and manufacturing teams, perform general maintenance on facilities and equipment, and contribute to LEAN and MESH initiatives while supporting layout changes and equipment installation as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years industrial/facilities maintenance experience or related experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Reading and understanding facility layouts and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing and building systems.
• Assist engineers and project managers with layout proposals and Kaizens.
• Coordinate with contractors and support prototype equipment development.
• Troubleshoot production lines and equipment to identify root causes.
• Support MESH implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.
