Job summary

Snyder Industries in Lincoln, NE seeks a Plant Supervisor for the 1st shift to oversee production, quality, materials flow and maintenance. The role partners with the Plant Manager on hiring, training and reassignment decisions to optimize plant performance.

Responsibilities include supervising production, ensuring schedules and cycle times, coordinating with Quality Control, and maintaining safe, compliant operations. Strong leadership and process improvement are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing supervision.
• Knowledge of machine and processes, equipment, and materials.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Leadership abilities to manage employees and improve team performance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high visual profile in Rotational Molding and Assembly and supervise production issues.
• Ensure production schedules are met and maintain cycle times without lowering quality.
• Manage material mixing accuracy of pigments and powders.
• Coordinate with Quality Control to maintain standards.
• Optimize machine efficiency and minimize rejections.
• Ensure safe working conditions and readiness for shift start.
• Supervise and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Assist in training and development programs and disciplinary actions.
• Prepare operational reports as required.
• Monitor inventory of materials and report shortages.
