Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a Plant 2 Lead Production Operator for 1st shift in Springfield, MO. Directly responsible for the complete operation of a designated production area. Regular full-time role with responsibilities spanning scheduling, staffing decisions, quality control, training, and safety compliance.

The position requires supervisory experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 2–4 years in production. A fast-paced environment and strong teamwork/communication skills are valued.

Qualifications

• 1-year supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily scheduling of production lines using published production backlog.
• Assist in hiring decisions and department personnel selection, including evaluations.
• Maintain product quality using workmanship standards and procedures.
• Conduct training of assigned personnel.
• Maintain safety of work area according to company requirements.
