Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division seeks a Panelboard Production Associate (1st Shift) in Sumter, SC. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm. The position pays $16.75 per hour and is eligible for the employee variable incentive program. Salaries are guidelines based on skills and experience.

You will assemble switchboards/panelboards from drawings and BOMs, use hand and power tools, and work with teammates to meet safety, quality and productivity goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Residence within 50 miles of Sumter facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble switchboards/panelboards from drawings, BOMs and blueprints.
• Use hand and power tools to install components.
• Ensure quality through visual inspections and identify nonconforming parts.
• Communicate shortages and keep production on schedule.
• Participate in 5S and continuous improvement activities.
• Cross-train for other roles as needed.
