Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division in Sumter, SC seeks a Panelboard Wiring Associate (B-Shift) to wire switchboard or panelboard products and contribute to safety, quality, and productivity goals.

Responsibilities include interpreting BOMs and wiring diagrams, using wire strippers and pliers, ensuring compliance with power flow guidelines, and collaborating with teammates to meet production timelines while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 1 year wiring experience.
• 1 year experience in manufacturing or operations and/or technical experience in an industrial setting.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
• Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Sumter, SC will be considered.
• Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Responsibilities

• Wire switchboard or panelboard products and provide wiring expertise.
• Communicate and work with team to meet safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity goals.
• Follow manufacturing documents to select and install wires and complete production in a timely manner.
• Understand power flow and reference guidelines to comply with regulations when wiring switchboards or panelboards.
• Maintain progress and communicate problems or part shortages.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and perform root cause analysis.
• Cross-train and stand in for other employees when necessary.
