Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Maintenance Tech II based in West Hazelton, PA. This 1st shift position operates from 6:30a to 3:00p and involves installation and repair of equipment in the plant.

Technicians perform preventive and reactive maintenance on production equipment and building facilities, diagnose problems, and provide timely repairs to ensure plant performance and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Two-year Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including with internal and external customers.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, health, quality GMP and company policies and procedures.
• Maintain and repair production equipment and plant facilities to ensure reliability.
• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on all production equipment.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during operation and scheduled maintenance during service downtime.
• Assist and train production employees in proper operation and maintenance of machinery.
