Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician II for the West Hazleton PA location. This 1st shift role runs from 6:30am to 3pm and targets candidates with solid experience in compressors, chillers, and cooling towers.

You will perform preventive and reactive maintenance on production equipment and plant facilities, diagnosing problems, testing parts, and making adjustments to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two year Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field is preferred.
• A minimum of five years Industrial Maintenance Technician experience is preferred.
• Ideal candidates would possess solid experience working with compressors, chillers and cooling towers.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant facilities.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during operation and perform scheduled maintenance repairs.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Use hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Limited travel may be required.
