Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Maintenance Tech II to work with Autefa Equipment at our West Hazleton, PA facility. This first shift position runs from 6:30am to 3:00pm and focuses on installation, inspection and repair of production machinery and building systems.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, diagnosing failures, emergency repairs, and training operators. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, with a preference for an Associate degree in Industrial

Qualifications

Regular, predictable attendance is required.
Strong computer skills and accurate typing are essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
Ability to communicate clearly under pressure and meet deadlines.
Capable of working independently to complete assignments within standard practices.
Collaborates effectively with others to achieve group objectives.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain production machines and plant facilities.
Diagnose problems, replace parts, and perform adjustments.
Provide emergency and scheduled maintenance during operation and service periods.
Carry out regular preventative maintenance on equipment.
Read manuals and work orders to perform maintenance tasks.
Train production staff on proper operation and maintenance of machinery.
Limited travel may be required.
