Job summary

The Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician II based in West Hazleton PA for DAY SHIFT (12 hours), 6:30am to 7:00pm. You will perform installation, repair, preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment and plant facilities.

Responsibilities include following safety and quality policies, diagnosing problems, performing repairs, and assisting training of production staff. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Two year Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred.
• Minimum of five years Industrial Maintenance Technician experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production equipment and plant facilities.
• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance and diagnose faults.
• Provide emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance during operation.
• Read manuals and work orders to perform required service.
• Assist and train production employees on operation and maintenance.
