Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a 1st shift Maintenance Supervisor in St. Charles, IL to lead maintenance teams across the plant, facilities, utilities and powerhouse.

You will oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment reliability to keep production flowing at peak performance. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 2+ years leading teams, with advanced ammonia refrigeration, boilers, PLCs and instrumentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration and high‑pressure boilers preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance teams in predictive and preventive maintenance.
• Train staff on proper work methods and safety procedures.
• Coordinate maintenance scheduling with Production to address repairs.
• Develop maintenance systems (TPM, SOPs, safety, etc.).
• Provide KPI tracking and regular status reports to maintenance leadership.
• Ensure compliance with USDA regulations and maintain accurate records.
