Job summary

Bell Textron Inc. is recruiting a Facilities Equipment & Maintenance Front Line Leader for the First Shift at the Grand Prairie, TX site. You will lead a union-covered maintenance team, supervise daily activities, and partner with a planner to ensure timely, safe, and efficient maintenance across equipment and processes.

You’ll drive reliability improvements, monitor performance data, and mentor technicians while upholding OSHA and company safety standards in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in industrial maintenance.
• Proven maintenance supervisor/front-line leader experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to multitask.
• MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and coordinate with the Planner/Scheduler.
• Ensure maintenance activities run on time without disturbing production schedules.
• Monitor work orders, parts orders, and equipment performance data for trends.
• Identify maintenance needs and help develop a maintenance budget.
• Mentor the team and provide training to improve performance and safety.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure OSHA compliance and policy adherence.
• Inspect ongoing work and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
