Job summary

Bell Textron in Grand Prairie, TX, is seeking a Facilities Equipment & Maintenance Front Line Leader on 2nd shift. This onsite role supervises union maintenance technicians and coordinates with planners to keep all equipment in good working order.

You will drive preventive and predictive maintenance, mentor staff, enforce OSHA safety, and support continuous improvement projects to boost reliability and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor or front-line leader in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices and procedures, including knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and/or hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Working knowledge of MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance activities with the Planner and Scheduler to ensure timely PMs and that equipment is in good working order.
• Coordinate with production, quality, equipment, process, and IE to avoid production delays.
• Monitor and track work orders, parts orders, and equipment performance data to identify trends.
• Identify and prioritize maintenance needs and help develop a maintenance budget.
• Lead and mentor technicians; provide training and support to ensure effective performance.
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to OSHA regulations and safety policies.
• Inspect and audit work in progress and upon completion for safety and quality.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve reliability and reduce costs.
