Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group in Ohio is seeking a first shift Assembler to perform assembly, sub-assembly, packing and inspection of stainless-steel commercial models in the Cooking Steam unit. You will use hand and power tools, read blueprints and follow work instructions to meet tight performance standards.

This role may require daily or weekend overtime to meet customer expectations. The incumbent should be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds and work in a ±hot/cold

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; manufacturing setting preferred.
• Previous assembly experience is advantageous.
• Able to safely operate hand and power tools and read basic instructions.
• Capable of standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a hot/cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and repair equipment per work instructions, blueprints, and specs using tools.
• Read process sheets and determine the sequence of assembly operations.
• Inspect parts for defects and ensure tight fit and seal integrity.
• Pack and crate finished products; maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to meet weekly production schedules.
