Job summary

Industrious Group is seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler to assemble and disassemble large steel equipment on a production floor in Cleveland, OH. You will read blueprints, select proper fittings, and use precision tools to ensure correct assembly and alignment, with attention to safety and quality.

Team collaboration and adherence to schedules are essential. Responsibilities include Machining assistance, testing movement of assemblies, and working with cranes and hoists to assemble

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical ability to proficiently operate heavy tools and equipment.
• Own tools of the trade, and the ability to use them effectively.
• Ability to read customer prints to determine sequence for heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble large pieces of steel equipment according to blueprints and specs.
• Read and interpret blueprints and measurement instruments.
• Use hand and power tools, micrometers, calipers, and gauges for assembly and inspection.
• Verify conformance to stock lists and blueprints; test assembled equipment.
